Your birth data

What is collected

Your name or preferred first name, your birth date, your birth time and how confident you are about it, and your birthplace resolved to coordinates and a time zone. If you unlock a report, your email address. Nothing else.

Your birth date, time, and place together are unusually identifying, which is why they are treated as sensitive profile data rather than ordinary form input.

What it is used for

Solely to generate your report and to let you re-open it later. Birth data is never used to build advertising profiles, and individualised birth profiles are never sold or shared.

Consent is asked twice, separately

Consent to store and process your birth data is asked before the calculation runs, because without it there is no report. Consent to receive marketing email is asked separately at the point you unlock your report, and declining it does not restrict anything. Both are recorded with a timestamp.

Deleting it

Every report page carries a delete control at the bottom. Using it permanently removes your birth date, time, place, and the report itself, and the link to that report stops working. There is no soft-delete and no recovery.

Before you launch this publicly

This build stores data in a local SQLite database and is intended for founding beta use. Before opening it to the public you should move to a managed database with encryption at rest, put reports behind accounts rather than unguessable links, and complete a privacy review of every vendor that touches profile data.
